So it was only a matter of time before I decided to blog about something that isn’t “live” nor “Vancouver”. Although, I enjoy movies as much as the next guy, I didn’t intend on blogging about any. However, I saw an offbeat one the other night that made me belly laugh a lot (much like tonight’s episode of Wipeout Blind Date.)
The movie is called Wasting Away, a fun B-movie zombie comedy. Four teens in a bowling alley inadvertently eat some toxic goo that turns them into zombies. The twist is that they don’t realize that they’re zombies. The movie starts out in black and white from the “real world” perspective and when it’s shown in colour it’s from the “zombies” perspective. There’s a lot of plot loopholes but if you can look past that, you’ll laugh your head off, literally.
Watch the trailer and see if it’s a movie for you.
It doesn’t let me embed the video, so click on the above twice and it’ll take you to YouTube’s site where you can watch it directly.
p.s. Okay, to make this post fit my Live Vancouver mission, Vancouver’s Zombie Walk 2010 is happening on August 21st.
